Budh Purnima



Budh Purnima is the biggest festival for followers of Buddhism. Buddha Purnima is celebrated to commemorate the birth, enlightenment & death of Gautam Buddha, the important events in the life of Buddha. buddha Purnima is also known as Buddha Jayanti. lord Buddha was the founder of the Buddhist religion and is said to be the ninth avatar of Vishnu. it is celebrated on the full moon night in Vaisakha month according to the Hindu calendar that usually falls in April or may, Buddha Purnima is also known as Vaisakha puja in India. this festival is celebrated by the Buddhists. buddha Purnima devotees make donations to the temple. incense, flowers, candles & fruits are offered to the statue of the Buddha.


Gurupurnima



Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Gururdevo and Maheshwaraha. Guru saakshaat Parabrahma, tasmai sri Gurave Namaha. guru Purnima is a famous Indian festival. the guru is very important in our life. i is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of ashadh according to Hindu calendar. this day is celebrated as a mark of respect to the 'guru'. on this day many people also keep fasting for their guru. the guru word is divided into 2 parts first GU & second RU. the GU word means darkness or ignorance, and RU means denotes the remover of that darkness. therefore guru is one who removes the darkness of our ignorance. in every era, the guru has always been worshipful. several programs and cultural performances are organized by the spiritual organization on this day. in many places the story, kirtan and Bhandara are organized. on this day there is also a provision for charity in the name of the guru.


Vaisakhi



Vaisakhi is also called Vaisakhi is usually celebrated on 31 April, & very occasionally on 14 April every year. the Vaishali festival l is a seasonal festival. it is celebrated all over India especially in Punjabi and Haryana by all of the people. Vaisakhi is known by different parts of India however the way it is celebrated is almost the same. Vaisakhi is Sikh's new year festival for the Sikh community.
it is also celebrated to mark the arrival of the harvest season. this day is special for the Sikhs beacuse on this day the last guru of the Sikhs had established the Khalsa Panth in 1699. every Sikh that day going to gurudwaras is a ritual on this day. people sing holy songs, burst crackers and distribute sweets during this festival. many people go to nearby rivers or lakes during the early morning on this day to take a holy dip. people of all ages wear new clothes and gather together to perform the dance. this form of dance is popularly known as Bhangra. many people organize get together at home to celebrate the day with their relatives, friends 7 colleagues. according to the Hindu, it is believed that goddess gangs descended to earth thousands of years ago on this day. this auspicious day is also very important for the farmers as they celebrate the happiness of harvesting their crops. at many places Baisakhi fairs are also Baisakhi fairs are also conducted. generally, the fair is held by the side of a river. on Baisakhi day there is a great rush in the fair.
